Death Prep Extravaganza with Laura Pritchett
It’s Health Care Decisions Day! Come to a “Death Prep Extravaganza” and get it done!
We all know Tax Day is April 15. But Healthcare Decisions Day is April 16—and frankly, it might be more important. Taking an hour or so now to get important documents done—and your wishes on paper—can saved your loved ones hundreds of hours of time (and possibly a lifetime of regret or heartache). So, get your shit together!
This 1.5 hour session is a practical how-to class designed to help you do just that—and to get you thinking on how best to live life, contemplate death, and help others know and respect your wishes.
You will leave with a document to give a loved one that outlines your wishes—legal, logistical, and regarding matters of the heart. You’ll also leave with a copy of a standard Advance Directives to drop off at PVH or your doc.
Best of all, you might leave thinking of death as more of a friend rather than a spooky stranger—which helps not only each of us, but our loved ones as well (not to mention our culture and planet).
Cost: $35. Advance Directives and workbook materials provided. The book Making Friends with Death: A Guide to Your Impending Last Breath will be available for sale.
