WyoColo Reading Series: An Inaugural MFA Reading
The terrific creative writing MFA programs at Colorado State University and the University of Wyoming are bringing you voices from both sides of the border for our WyoColo Reading Series! Join us for drinks, interstate camaraderie, and to hear our four incredible readers:
Heather Holland is a second-year poet at the University of Wyoming.
Emma Hyche is a second-year poet at Colorado State. A 2016 winner of the AWP Intro Journal Award, her work has appeared in Permafrost, the Tampa Review, and elsewhere.
Annie Osburn is a second-year fiction writer at the University of Wyoming, and is originally from Michigan. She comes to Wyoming by way of California, Virginia, Montana and Alaska. She earned degrees in Political Science and Law from Stanford University, but has now worked as a wilderness guide longer than she practiced law. Her writing interests center on the impacts isolation and wilderness have on individuals. Her non-writing interests include baking, rock and ice climbing, and playing music with friends and strangers.
Christa Helton Shively is a second-year poet at Colorado State.
