Pineross
Pineross is a Tucson-based electronic-folk trio lead by songwriter/producer Kevin Larkin and featuring Jake Ransom on percussion/ mallets and Daniel Becker on bass clarinet. Pineross’ latest release, Dragoon, was inspired by the harsh and beautiful landscape of the Sonoran desert. The music takes listeners on a journey into the borderlands where history and mythology blend into our current polarized reality, ultimately searching the horizon for a moment of peace. “It’s ambling vibe exists within the space between Ennio Morricone and Andrew Bird.” – Pop Matters
Larkin has released three albums and an EP under the Pineross moniker and composes ambient/sound collage music under the name Aamateur Aastronomy. He spent the last decade creating theatrical productions with art-folk collective Chimney Choir, performing while suspended from trees during the Breckenridge International Festival of Art, and designing an interactive sound installation as Artist in Residence at Great Sand Dunes National Park. Kevin has collaborated with filmmakers, puppeteers, dancers, environmentalists, songwriters, and poets. His work often explores the intersection of the organic and digital aspects of sound, incorporating manipulated field recordings and processed acoustic sources.
King Bee
Fox Linnea Drickey emerges from a two-year hiatus in full force with this brand new five-piece synth-pop full-band adaptation of her celebrated solo material. Her new arrangements feature lyrical songwriting, honest vocals and multi-layered overlapping harmonies that wrap the listener up in warm bubbly synths & ambient sonic textures while transporting them through trancey unexpected groove-worlds. Her sound manages to be expressive, surprising, and catchy – alien love-child of Joanna Newsom, Joni Mitchell, and Bjork – but with a soothing quality that makes it wholly and authentically no one else’s.
Fox is supported in this new endeavor by powerhouse Denver musicians and mega-babes Cassidy Bacon (The Whimsy of Things, Ghost Tapes, Other Black), David Rynhart (Chimney Choir), Ben Weirich (Retrofette, Dandu), and Carl Sorensen (Dragondeer, Covenhoven, Chimney Choir). She is best known as a founding member of Denver’s beloved genre-imploding theatrical band, Chimney Choir (Denver Westword’s Best Pop Band of 2015), called ‘a treasure box of the imagination’ by The Denver Post.

Laura Goldhamer
Laura Goldhamer draws from a variety of purely American traditions; however, Laura’s ability to merge traditional Americana with the avant-garde, mixing inventive homemade technologies with earnest folk, is particularly noteworthy. During performances, she projects her intricately composed stop-animation films (which she has created to illustrate her song lyrics). These visuals are synced with live music delivery, as well as with an installation of her self-constructed speaker/drum/doorbell machine, affectionately named “The Roboctopus”, which is an eight-channel robotic percussive ensemble using speakers in drums, doorbells on music stands, and solenoids rigged up to hit cymbals.
As a folk songwriter, guitarist, old-time banjo player, stop-motion animator, & instrument inventor, Goldhamer enlivens crowds with laughter and awe, conveying her intimate and focused energy in a unified and immersive musical, visual, and kinetic performance.
