Listen Up! – Girls tell their (her)stories
June 23, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for a night of community as we support girls in finding and raising their voices. 15 high school girls will tell stories of times they felt proud or powerful. Last year’s stories included a tale of wading through knee-high Minnesota mud, a love letter to friendship and Taco Bell, a celebration of personal expression through fashion, reflections on the importance of our mothers and ancestors, and more.
We trust girls. We value girls. We listen to girls. Join us!
Tickets are $10 at the door and include a beverage and light snacks. All proceeds benefit Girls Rites, including scholarships for low-income girls, and service-learning projects in Colorado and beyond. Our crew of 18 girls has impacted 150+ Fort Collins community members this year through their leadership.

At GR: Girls and women build connection and find power through celebrations of voice, community, and adventure.
We create rites of passages that celebrate transformation:
– from unsure to BOLD
– from quieted to PROUD
– from confined to WILD
– from me to US
We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the power of girls!
