Harrison Candelaria Fletcher is the author of the essay collection, “Descanso For My Father,” the memoir, “Presentimiento: A Life in Dreams,” and his newest book, a lyric essay collection, “Finding Querencia: Essays from In-Between.” His work has received a 2022 National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship, Colorado Book Award, Autumn House Press Nonfiction Prize, New Letters Literary Award, Arizona Poetry Center fellowship, and a Kirkus Reviews Best Indie Memoir selection. A native New Mexican, he teaches in the MFA in Creative Writing Programs at Colorado State University and Vermont College of Fine Arts.
