Alex Runge and Erik Wangsvick are SKETCHES. This pair of interdisciplinary artists have beencollaborating together and inspiring one another since 2009. To their credit is an extensive catalog ofvisual art and music compositions which beg many questions while providing few answers. When is anartwork complete? What is its value along the way? Why are we doing this? With many more means thanends, the work of this team is never done.

SKETCHES is also a self publishing enterprise. Both parties have a background in fine art printmakingwhich bleeds into their production of art ephemera. These publications revolve primarily aroundSKETCHES as an experimental indie-folk band. Posters, magazines, cassette tape products, and internetrepresentation all fall under this umbrella.                     

SKETCHES are also an art form. They are quick, loose, preliminary, or not.
