July Residency Showcase: Linocut printmaking

Please join us on Tuesday, July 26th from 6-8 for a linocut printmaking workshop with July’s Wolverine Residents! No skills, art or otherwise, are required to watch your quick carving transform into a shockingly beautiful, graciously reproducible work of art. We will provide the linoleum, paper, ink, flat surfaces, and carving tools (if you have access to carving tools, we’d really appreciate your bringing them!), as well as poems and passages that may serve as inspiration. Please feel free to bring your own favorite writings and tools, and together we will try to bridge the divide between the written and visual arts. If the wind is right, we may also get a poetic reading from Abigail Thomas, July Writer in Residence.
