Let’s Be Still.

A night of music and art, being and belonging, benefiting suicide prevention. 

Writer and poet Victor Hugo said, “Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.” This September 10, World Suicide Prevention Day, a group of Fort Collins musicians, artists, poets and community resources will create a space at Wolverine Farm Publick House dedicated to those lost to suicide – breaking the silence and sending the message that suicide is preventable. To help shine a light on the struggles we all share and to remind us of the significant beauty and value we all bring to life.

You. Are. So. Important. You matter. You belong. You’re invited to open space for loving, singing, expressing, remembering and healing to help #StopSuicide in Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado, our country and the world.

Light snacks will be available thanks to Vindeket Foods, a nonprofit food rescue that empowers our community to reduce food waste.

The Colorado community is encouraged to submit photographs of loved ones who have been lost to suicide by emailing letsbestillseptember@gmail.com by September 5 at. 

Proceeds benefit the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County to support their awareness and prevention efforts through advocacy, education and programming.
