Come find out where the tiny house will journey off too and help us spread the word about The Tiny House that Flew!
The Tiny House that Flew is about a young family and their journey toward a simpler, more harmonious existence, aided in part by building and living in their very own tiny house. The story takes a magical twist one night when their tiny house takes flight. The story was written by Rico Moore and illustrated with pen and watercolors by Jenna Allen.
Rico Moore elaborates on the inspiration for the story: “One night in our tiny house, big winds came and kept me at the threshold between waking and dreaming all night long. When night ends and morning is just about to begin, I finally fell asleep, deeply, and dreamed the story of the tiny house that flew. The next morning as I rode with my wife to town for breakfast I brought the story up from my unconsciousness then passed it on to my family. Soon after, I shared the story with Wolverine Farm Publishing and a couple of days later they asked if I wanted to turn it into a little book. I immediately affirmed. The story is a coalescence of currents, representing engagement with global environmental crisis and social injustice, and dreams of a hope that we’ll make it.”
