Youth Showcase feat: Christine Alice, Musicians of the Galaxy, No No Betsy

Please join us in the courtyard for an evening showcasing local music, young musicians, and the positive connections being made in our community to support both.

Christine Alice is an up & coming regional musician who's original music crosses all types of genres from pop, country, alternative, to lo-fi and more. Christine's love and passion for music extends beyond just performing. Her original score for the short independent film, “Chords”, which she also acted in, won Best Original Score in the Moscow Film Fest. Christine also teaches guitar and piano lessons to students in Fort Collins of all ages privately, plus is a music instructor at The Matthews House.

Musicians of the Galaxy is a group of talented teenagers who formed at The Matthews House music group. Together they perform both covers and co-written originals that span genres and are all student chosen. Through music, this group has formed friendships, a sense of community, and an outlet to have their voices be heard.

No No Betsy is a new band of young musicians that will bring smiles everywhere they play.

Students from The Matthews House music program will share solo performances of original songs and hand selected covers they have been practicing all semester.
