Craft Sunday: Spoon Carving with Rico Lighthouse
Come learn the basics of Spoon Carving. In this class we’ll cover everything you need to know to get started on your own carving journey, including wood selection, safe knife and axe handling, sharpening, design and types of spoons, care and use of wooden utensils, history and philosophy of using wood, and you’ll get to go home with a functional spoon that you can use at home.
A carving knife is recommended but not necessary. The instructor will have some for you to use, but if you bring your own, Rico recommends the Mora 106, which can be purchased here.

This class will take place on the patio of Wolverine Farm.
